FRANKLIN consists of an overall with an insert for smocking, cross-stitch, shadow work or appliqué. The overall can be made either long or short. Variations are given for the long version for a bubble leg and a cuffed leg. The overall buttons at the shoulder. The shirt buttons down the front with a center back pleat for extra fullness and a shawl-type Eton collar. The sleeves are short and include an optional cuff. Please Note: This pattern was specifically designed to accommodate more smocking rows for the smaller sizes.
